EQUINOX

The Tapada da Ajuda Exhibition Pavilion in Lisbon was the venue for EQUINOX, a remarkable event celebrating transformation, the balance between day and night, and the changing seasons. Conceived by emerging designer Manel Baer, in collaboration with creative directors Marco Gomes and Tatjana Jourdain, this show stood out for its combination of sustainable fashion, music, and performance, creating magical, disruptive, and inspiring moments.

EQUINOX offers a fresh look at fashion, promoting change through sustainable innovation. Each piece in the collection, created with bio-based materials produced from algae and textile waste, is a symbol of renewal, love for nature, and respect for the environment. Inspired by transformation and natural balance, EQUINOX celebrates evolution, change, and the beauty inherent in sustainability.

More than just a fashion show, EQUINOX provided an immersive experience for guests, mixing fashion, music, and performance: the soundtrack, created exclusively for the event, was performed live by musician Farwarmth (Afonso Arrepia Ferreira) on the keyboard; under the direction of Beatriz Pereira, a group of talented dancers brought movement and emotion to the collection; the makeup and hair, designed by artist Noir (Rita Oliveira), explored shapes and textures that complemented the disruptive and visionary aesthetic of the fashion show; and the participation of creatives such as Sara Diniz, who brought a unique artistic dimension to the event, was fundamental in highlighting the essence of the collection.

EQUINOX is more than fashion—it is a celebration of the transformative power of creativity and sustainability. “Fashion is marketing. Marketing is change. Fashion is useful,” said one of the guests. With a team of young talents and agents of change, EQUINOX was a celebration of creativity, highlighting the collaboration of emerging artists who challenge norms and reinvent the industry.
